BEEC’s Nature Explorers Camps and Youth Programs are for the young person who loves the natural world. Our goal is to foster children’s love of nature in a safe, supportive environment. Campers spend most of each day outdoors, in small groups, exploring our 100 acres of forest, meadow and pond on the land of a former farm.
We offer camps during February and April vacation, seven weeks of Summer camp, Nature Days during In-Service days and selected holidays during the school year, Afterschool programs, and Homeschool programs. There are many ways to come to BEEC to play, learn and explore. Visit our Winter & Spring Camp page, Summer Camp page, and our Enrichment Programs page for more information. You can also contact us directly at email@example.com
BEEC is dedicated to making youth programs affordable and available to ALL children with Scholarship Funds. If you would like to contribute to this fund, please do so here. Thank you!
Here’s what families have to say about BEEC youth programs:
-BEEC provides authentic and scientifically based outdoor education that puts kids in contact with our local ecology. I love that. I also love the flexibility of programs — that you have things available during school breaks as well as making it possible to sign up for only one or more days.
-Your location and land is incredible. We loved everything! Counselors were very friendly and low key! Love the land! My son immediately wanted how long it would be till he could come back!
-I love that BEEC programs are creative, fun, lots of outdoor time, great staff & good vibes! After summer camp this year, my son said that he wants to do BEEC camp all year long! He had an awesome time.
-All of the group leaders are kind and the care for our environment message is being delivered in a curiosity and excitement driven way (as opposed to one of anxiety and caution which I find inappropriate for children and often adults too!). I was also extremely grateful for the generosity of the financial assistance we received.
-I love how happy my boy is, he really enjoys learning and being outside. I like how he does not mind getting dirty and being hands on in his environment. Keep up the good work. It is great that we are able to offer a program like this to children!
-My son loves it. I was showered with stories all week and for the following days of his adventures at camp and all he had learned. It is, by far, his favorite if any camp he has ever attended.
-I love how BEEC programs keep kids outdoors and engaged in something educational and fun at the same time.
-Your programming is wonderful. Inspiring creative activities. Nature observation. Land is richly beautiful. Sweet councillors. Family feeling at BEEC.
-I love that BEEC camp is educating children, cementing a love of being outdoors, showing kids activities to do without technology, bonding with new friends and adults. We are so happy to have found an outdoor program that is close to our house and that is so fun and educational.
-I love the positive feedback I get from my child, his description of what he does at BEEC, and knowing he is outside learning and connecting with nature. There were many positive things about camp this summer, but I knew my child was in good hands from our (very important) first moments. As a parent, the professionalism of the staff set a reassuring tone and I felt so comfortable leaving my child at BEEC camp knowing he was going to have a great day…. which he did!
-I love that my child is outside, learning about nature, and having fun. My child found renewed interest in outdoor play with whatever was there (rather than with toys outdoors).
-I love that the kids spend most of their time outdoors, exploring in nature. Your programs are wonderful.
-My child says: “I really liked making a bird and a caterpillar and a mask and that I got to bring it home!”
-My kids LOVE being there in every way, from staff to programming. Thank you!
-I value how the kids are interacting with nature and spend a lot of time outside. The girls love your camp and are looking forwarding to attending next year!
