Upcoming Possibilities
Record early movement took place on Tuesday, March 5.
Amphibians have been on the move this week!! Most of them have now made it to their breeding pools. Expect stragglers on the next warm rainy night, as well as amphibians heading back to the woods.
Thursday April 18:Sporadic light showers are forecast throughout the day. If rains are heavy enough to get things quite wet at dusk, there could be amphibian activity. |
Friday, April 19:Light rain and showers will begin mid-afternoon and continue into the night. In Marlboro, this could be a spotted salamander night. Elsewhere, expect many amphibians to be heading back to the woods. |
