Meet the Performers

Addison Rhys – Addison Rhys is a genre-defying troubadour whose “acoustic alchemy” blends soul-baring lyricism, intricate guitar work, and magnetic presence to share songs that resonate with the deepest parts of ourselves. With a voice that resounds with the grit of lived experience, the depth of timeless myth, and the tenderness of unconditional love, Addison weaves songs like spells—equal parts confession, invocation, and invitation. Drawing on a background steeped in storytelling, folk, blues, rock, eastern philosophy, energy healing, and modern shamanic practices, Addison’s music takes you on a journey through vignettes of transformation, longing, liberation, and the wild mystery of this human experience. Each performance feels intimate and electric—like you’re sitting around a fire in another dimension, where the veil is thin and the truth reveals itself. Whether playing barefoot in a living room or mic’d up on a festival stage, Addison brings the kind of honesty that hushes the room and leaves you carrying a lyric home like a secret. Check out some of his music at addisonrice.com, or on his instagram, @addison.rhys

Derek Sensale – Derek delivers an intimate live performance featuring original folk songs that are deeply rooted in tradition and generously dusted with Vermont soil. Leaning into the wonders of the natural world, each song is a personal narrative, stitched together with melodies ranging from joyful to melancholic.

Emily Margaret – Since first picking up a guitar at age 7, and writing her first song two years later, 17 year-old, Guilford, VT-based singer/songwriter Emily Margaret has honed her songwriting craft studying at the Antidote Workshop with two time Grammy award-winner Sonya Kitchell, and at the Berklee College of Music. Drawing inspiration from R&B, jazz, and folk influences, she crafts a soulful folk sound that showcases her poetic yet relatable lyrics, and her powerful velvety voice.

Helen Hummel – Singer/songwriter Helen Hummel hails from the green mountains of Vermont. Her music reflects the rural landscape of her upbringing and explores the styles of Folk, Americana, and Indie, among many others. Through classic and original songs, she fills out the limits of her vocal range, accompanying herself on bright and playful guitar. She currently lives in Western Massachusetts and regularly tours through her home state of Vermont and greater New England.

Ian Galipeau – Ian Galipeau is an indie-rock songwriter for hopeful cynics. He weaves empathetic storytelling and careful wordplay into thought-provoking songs that fit loosely under “indie rock”, with strands of Americana. His evocative voice and detailed songcraft have drawn comparisons to Hozier and Ben Harper. Ian has been performing around New England for 12 years, sharing stages with regional mainstays including Arc Iris, Dietrich Strause, and Ian Fitzgerald. The last few years have been his busiest ever – in addition to playing 150+ shows, he’s put out two albums, a pair of EPs, and a handful of singles. His latest effort, Faded Pictures, came out on February 22nd.

Jonathan Stephen Braught – Jonathan Stephen Braught has been playing music in New England for twenty years. He started playing guitar because he struggled to put a voice to emotion, and it became an important expressive outlet. Music allows him to convey an inner world that he struggles to put into words, and his guitar is a natural conduit for creation. Jonathan is an energetic and prolific performer. Involved with a variety of musical projects, he’ll be performing for the Forest of Melody with Paul Martinez, the agile lead guitar player in one of those projects, the up-and-coming band, GOLDTOOTH.

Temple Mountain – Soulful singer-songwriter, Temple Mountain blends the introspective depth of Elliott Smith with the dynamic sounds and skills of John Mayer, Dave Matthews Band, and Ed Sheeran. His journey has taken him from the vibrant music scenes of NYC and Austin to a reflective hiatus in New Hampshire, where he rediscovered his passion for music. With a background in psychology, Temple Mountain weaves human complexities into his songwriting, creating a captivating exploration of the human condition. His performances promise a profound connection with audiences, whether in intimate listening rooms or lively bars throughout New England.

Wolf Girlz – Wolf Girlz make songs for sweethearts. Their sound doesn’t fit neatly into any one box, but contains elements of folk, ambient, and rock. Some may call it “post-folk” music. The full spectrum of love is represented in their songs – sometimes they may draw you in tenderly and gently lull you to sleep, then the next minute they can be loud & emotional. The pack is made up of Favour Mudd on vocals, Johnny Gifford on guitar, and Dagan S Broad on drums. Their den is nestled in the caves of Brattleboro VT. Awoooooo!!!
