Malena Hodgman has lived most of their life in Vermont, where they were always enamored with nature. They spent their youngest years reading nature magazines, drawing animals they learned about, and insisting on camping on birthdays. Though they still love camping, nowadays their favorite outdoor activity is birding. Aside from birds, they are very passionate about nature as a whole.

Malena is a high school student who recently taught their first class, and has great interest in working with kids again. They love to teach, and especially love fostering a love of nature in others.
